We often think of looking into best modes of cherishing our memories, enjoying the feeling of togetherness, admiring family members’ accomplishments and feeling proud of being part of our family. I also plunged into similar perplexity off times going down the memorabilia lane. Added to this was hunting of ways in which I could return a souvenir to the reasons of my existence – my Mother and my Father. I thought that one good step in that direction would be to create a website that is by, of and for our family.It gives me immense joy, satisfaction and a sense of pride to announce the launch of this brand new website – Memorabilia Lane – as my personal dedication to my father and my mother especially on her 30th death anniversary on March 15, 2010.
This website would serve as a platform to our family, relatives and friends in getting them closer by providing family details, achievements, professions etc. Having said this, the site is not just to add some spice to our lives, but to be a resource providing information on events of interest to all as said above just on a finger-tip. And, by adopting the approach of ancestries, we target to fulfill the aforesaid aims to some extent.
We have always been admirers of effective endeavours of all the members of our family and it is worth mentioning that their concerted effort has resulted in the launch of this web site too. One of the primary success elements of our family is the binding strength of its members – an impulse that will keep this site progressing for times to come.
We look forward to receiving and incorporating your inputs. Please also feel free to send your suggestions or criticism since we firmly believe that these ingredients would certainly enable us to improve.

Memorabilia Lane
Completes One Year
15th March 2011
Completing the journey of one year, the site has evolved significantly. Separate page enabling posting of matrimonial resumes Alliance and a page for our own master chef Surabhi for her Recipes has been added. Going forward we will not be publishing the birthdays and anniversaries anymore as we did last year (Tuhina, Ayush & Twinkle – Wish you all a very happy birthday in advance!). I know continuing this would have been the ideal way but you would appreciate the fact that it not only needs considerable time but also is too onerous for a single person to keep track and update for all the events. However, the good thing is that you can always track these important events by following link to my Yahoo Calendar on the page.
While thanking you all for your continued support, important inputs and valuable suggestions, I would be eager as usual to hear from you. I wish you all a great year ahead!
